Beyourcareer Soliciting Bloggers For Immediate Submissions

In the spring of 2014, thirteen (13) RE/MAX locations in the Lower Mainland began a joint venture to promote their offices. The purpose was not just to attract new agents, but to share information that will educate and inform. Sharing valuable insight related to our industry will attract positive attention, and reinforce our continued efforts to be the best that we can be.

BEYOURCAREER bloggers:

Real estate professionals wanting to contribute on either a ONE TIME basis or perhaps submit a regular column. Content from this blog will remain online but will also be fed to Beyourcareer bi-weekly email news. The writer will be responsible for maintaining a voice consistent with the interests of Beyourcareer, while promoting the professionalism and image of Realtors. Writers that are published to Beyourcareer blog will receive full credit, and link-back to their website.

  • Bio (no more than 100 words please)
  • Link(s) to your blog or published work (desired but not required)
  • Specify exactly which website URL that you would like to be publicly linked back to

Chosen Articles:

  • May average 500 words, more or less (articles relevant to the profession)
  • May include images and videos to support the writing (optional)
  • Are preferably pieces not previously published
  • Any article assigned must be completed within two weeks
  • Should be linked on blogger’s personal/professional blog

Some suggestions:

In the format of a “how to” question. i.e. Why contemporary Realtors have to be able to use different communication tools and technologies? Which are the best sales tools for agents in this specific area of British Columbia?

Narratives or interviews about learning moments, instances of career advancement or skill development. Useful professional and/or personal information that will improve their careers and the way they conduct business. An auxiliary objective is to demonstrate to other real estate professionals that our industry is a complex machine, that goes beyond the borders of selling properties.
